Let's try this again.

So... as a result of laziness and of wondering why to blog, it has been over a year since I last blogged. A significant number of people have asked me why I don't blog anymore, so I have asked myself, why don't I blog? I am still figuring out what I think about it. Many wise men have said, to some effect, that an unevaluated life is not worth living. I will apply that wisdom to my blog: "the unevaluated blog isn't worth blogging." So, before I start any updates, I am going to ask you to help me think through this. I will ask you, the few readers I may have, why should I blog. I may be over-thinking this, I do that alot. Either way, I'm rethinking it, and want to hear some other perspectives to inform my blogging.

anyway, thanks in advance for the input, and I look forward to reading your feedback!

p.s. updates coming soon

A man with a plan!

So, I've been frustrated in my new schedule, being tired and going to bed early not doing some things I want to do more, so, I've decided its time to go back to the old drawing board, and rewrite my schedule and prioritize stuff I want to take care of. Since coming back from school, I have relaxed my schedule and haven't planned much, but now its time to do it again! Planning is crucial to discipline and preparation to whatever God brings my way.

Provervs 16:3
"Commit your work to the Lord
and your plans will be established"

Crossroads

Whew, it's been a long week. After being a server for so long, this construction business can where me out! It's been fun and educational for me, and I'm grateful God provided a job ( He knows I need one). That's just what i do everyday, but there has been more going on this week. I find myself at a crossroads. The Merriam-webster dictionary defines a crossroads as "a crucial point especially where a decision must be made." I am at such a point, three months post graduation, where I must choose between opportunities for ministry. This is a difficult decision, and a trying one. I have changed my mind a couple times, but now I am just seeking God's wisdom and direction (I had not because I asked not). This decision pretty is pretty much what I am focusing on these days.
With this decision weighing on my heart and mind, I took a Sunday drive, just to have some quiet time with the Lord, and just some solitude for a while. I was going to take my own picture of a crossroad to put up here, but my battery ran out. But before it ran out, I was able to take these photos while I was musing...

I figured it was time to take a self portrait, so here it is...
