A Tribute to Summer part 2: Camping and the great outdoors

Last weekend, my good friend Ryan and I headed to Rainbow Acres on the Mataponi River for a long weekend of enjoying the great outdoors. No plans, just a tent, some fishing poles, a deck of cards and plenty of food to keep the two of us perfectly not busy for 3 days. It was awesome. Just some time to soak in God's creation and have a good time. Here are a few pics from the weekend.

And now for another tribute to summer: campfires. I love the smell of burning wood, it's a place to hang out and talk for hours making smores or hotdogs or just keeping warm. It also looks pretty sweet when you take a picture of it at night!
30 second exposure - there was a lot of embers!

This is my favorite: just the embers above the fire - 30 seconds again
Well, that's it for now, more summer tributes coming soon!
